How To Make Potatoes On Blackstone Griddle

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (russet, red, or any variety)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Optional seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, dried rosemary)

Instructions

  1. The first step is to preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. Wash and clean the potatoes well to remove any dirt. You can peel the skin or just leave it. I suggest you leave the skin because it adds awesome texture and flavor.
  3. Cut the potatoes into desired pieces. You can dice them into cubes, slice them into rounds, or cut them into wedges. But make sure the piece size should be the same for even cooking.
  4. Place the potato pieces in a bowl and drizzle with cooking oil. Make sure you use enough oil to coat the chopped pieces.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, and other optional seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, and dried rosemary. And mix it well.
  6. When the griddle is preheated, add a thin layer of oil on the surface that prevents it from sticking.
  7. Spread the potato pieces in a single layer on the surface.
  8. Cook them for about 15-20 minutes or until they turn to a golden brown color.
  9. Flip the potatoes with time.
  10. Once cooked, remove them from the griddle and place them on a serving plate.

And enjoy!
